Hemingway Daiquiri

2 ounces white rum

1 once lime juice

1 ounce simple syrup

dash grapefruit juice

1/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur or grenadine floated on top


Build all ingredients over crushed ice in a cocktail shaker. Give it a quick, sharp shake and pour into the Collins glass. Garnish with lime.

The Poinsettia

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. champagne
  • 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier
  • Splash of cranberry juice
  • 3 dried cranberries

Instructions

Pour the Grand Marnier into the bottom of a tall flute. Then pop the cork on the champagne and fill the glass. Before serving, top off with a splash of cranberry juice and drop a few dried cranberries in the glass as a garnish.

Agave Stinger

agave stinger

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. honey
  • 2 oz. tequila
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 2 dashes of bitters
  • Splash of soda

Instructions

Heat the honey on low. Once it’s dark amber, remove from heat. Mix everything but the soda in a shaker. Serve over the ice. Top with soda.

Bubbly Pear Cocktail (with mocktail option)

Ingredients

  • Frozen pear slice
  • 1 ounce Eau de vie (flavored brandy) or pear nectar
  • 4 to 5 ounces champagne or ginger ale
  • champagne grapes

Instructions

Place pear slice in flute or tall glass. Add brandy or nectar. Fill with champagne or ginger ale. Garnish with champagne grapes, if desired.
